She has also been assisting asset management companies in their daily operational and financial functions in relation to mutual funds managed by them and helping them set up appropriate controls and processes for seamless functioning and to comply with regulatory requirements.

Prior to setting up SJCo, Rachana has worked with Price Waterhouse (PW) as a part of their financial services practice in the Assurance line of service throughout her professional career and gathered valuable national and international experience servicing some of the biggest clients in the financial services industry especially in the investment management and capital market segments including their service providers and shared service centres of global investment banks working on varied nature of projects including statutory audit, internal audits and ISAE 3402 and SOX audits. Her extensive experience and subject matter expertise in asset management enabled her to participate in and contribute to industry discussions and engagements involving tax and regulatory matters, management and technology consulting and transaction advisory.
