Prior to setting up SJCO, she has spent 3 years of her professional experience with Ernst and Young (E&Y) as a part of their People Advisory Services and has specialised in the spheres of global mobility and employee taxation, from inbound as well as outbound perspective, immigration and employment law requirements, payroll models, tax and social security considerations, use of tax treaties and exchange control regulations.

She has appeared before the tax authorities for various matters. She has managed a portfolio of clients (including large MNCs) providing them advisory on various tax matters and compliance assistance in relation to their internationally mobile employees.

She has been involved in working on various advisory engagements including providing assistance in the running of the risk function of a mutual fund and setting up of the risk management framework and function of a new mutual fund.
